- Test drove multiple times finding that we were able to duplicate the customer's concern, but it is intermittent. Raised for inspection to find that all steering and suspension components are tight. We removed both rear shock absorbers to move them by hand and found that they moved smoothly. The upper mounts are in good condition. We inspected the suspension loaded and unloaded but were unable to find anything that is loose or worn. We did find an underbody shield towards the right rear of the car that had missing retainers so we secured it…we don't believe that this is the noise being heard but this was the only issue we could find at this time. Follow up test drive was inconclusive; customer will need to drive and see how it goes….the issue will need to become more consistent to accurately diagnose it.
