2012 GMC Acadia
Mileage142,329Service Date4/14/2026Services Performed- Tet drove and verified customer's complaint, then monitored live data pids to find that command is present, but there is no feedback from the multifunction switch to the body control module. All fuses, circuits, and connections test good at this time. Recommend replacing the multifunction switch……during the test drive we found that the transmission took off from a start in the wrong gear…..scanned codes and monitored live data to find that the transmission control module has failed and is causing the issue. Recommend replacing the transmission control module along with a transmission fluid exchange.
- Removed and replaced the TCM/valve body assembly. Hand torqued all fasteners to OEM specifications and programmed the software to the latest available calibration. Topped off fluid level, test drove, and verified proper fluid level and no leaks. Car runs, shifts, and drives well with no lights or issues.
- Complete transmission fluid exchange, run vehicle to full temperature, test drive, and recheck fluid level and condition.
- Applied degreasing agent to affected area(s) and thoroughly washed off with water.
- Removed and replaced multi-function lever/switch. Verified proper operation.

2022 RAM 2500 HD
Mileage82,798Service Date3/27/2026Services Performed- Truck started properly with no jump start necessary. Brought into the shop and verified that all positive and negative battery cable and starter connections are clean & secure. Individually charged and tested both batteries finding that they both test good. Scanned and found codes P0299 (turbo underboost) and P2509 (ECM/PCM power input signal intermittent) stored. Customer noted a check engine light had been coming and going randomly; this is likely due to the P0299 and should be diagnosed if the issue continues. The P2509 can be due to battery cables/connections, bad fuses/relays, PCM, or PCM wiring. Cables and connections are good, all fuses and relays test good as well……found no visual evidence of any damaged, corroded, or mouse chewed wiring. If the issue persists, the next logical repair would be to replace the intelligent power distribution center (fuse block assembly).
- INTELLIGENT POWER DISTRIBUTION CENTER – Remove & Replace – [Includes: Programming.] – [NOTE: Labor estimates listed are for R&R only and DOES NOT include diagnosis time.]
- BATTERY – Remove & Replace – Both –
