Fuses, circuits, and connections all test good. Tested with and without the box mounted plug in and found that circuits still test good. Located GM TSB that documents a similar issue……GM recommends first replacing the 7 pin connector (at the bumper) with an updated unit that is designed to have better, more consistent connection with the trailer end of the harness. If the issue persists they recommend replacingand programming the trailer tow module.
