  • Found misfire on cylinder #2 – swapped coil from cylinder #2 to #1 and misfire followed, indicating coil is not producing spark as it should. After replacing coil we need to retest to make sure all misfires are gone. 3 and 4 had small misfires but unsure if that was because of initial misfire.
Cylinder 3 was still misfiring lightly, swapped coils and misfire followed…..Replaced ignition coil for cylinder #3, cleared codes, and test drove to find no further misfires.

  • Change engine oil & filter, check fluid levels, check lights, check wipers, grease suspension where applicable. Rotate tires, set pressures, and hand torque lug nuts.
  • Reset oil life monitor and TPMS systems after service and tire rotation.
  • Scanned for codes, code P0121 and a P0705 are present. The first code related to a throttle body position sensor, test showed sensor failed, this could be causing the transmission code error as it passed through the throttle body first and may be causing an erratic reading. Recommend replacing throttle body.
