2018 Ford Explorer
Mileage89,353Service Date8/14/2024Services Performed- Raised for inspection to find that there is a very minimal "seep" at the lower rear corner of the timing cover. There is also a small amount of gear oil present at the front differential (transfer case). Verified fluid levels are good. Degreased the affected areas and recommend monitoring these very minor leaks at future times of service. Typically the transfer case starts to leak due to internal failure; we test drove and made sure that there is no noise or obviously worn components at this time.
- Both front tires are at the wear indicators, the rears have slightly more remaining. Will need four new tires prior to winter or any longer trips. An alignment check would also be recommended.
- Mount & balance 4 tires (w/ purchase).
- Tire disposal fee.
- ALIGN CHECK – Full Align if needed

- Following service and tire rotation, reset maintenance and TPMS systems.
- All tires are near the wear indicators; should be replaced before winter. Rear brakes have about 3-4mm wear life remaining, may need new brakes at the next oil change or two. Car came in low on oil, no obvious leaks. Suspect that the engine is burning oil; oil level should be monitored closely.

Inspect entire system for leaks. Approximate brake pad/shoe lining remaining is: Front ( 10 % ) Rear ( 80 % ). - Fluid levels and conditions are good. Brakes, tires, steering, and suspension components are in good condition as well. Coolant is clean and full, protection level is proper. It is written under the hood that the coolant was exchanged in 2021……GM Dexcool coolant is rate for 150,000 miles. No worries for the cooling system at this time. Transmission oil cooler lines are leaking and should be replaced in the near future. Recommend transmission fluid exchange at that time.
