- Tested the headlamp control relay and multifunction switch for proper current supply and grounds finding all to be good. Tested for power and ground at the headlamp connector and also at the bulb connector. Removed and replaced both front lowbeam bulbs and found that they function. Charged and tested battery; the battery tests good. Tested alternator ripple to verify that the alternator is not overcharging the battery and potentially sending voltage spikes that could cause the bulbs to blow. Test drove and rechecked to verify proper function of all exterior lamps at this time.
